What Kaal Sarp Dosha actually is

Rahu and Ketu always sit exactly opposite each other, so they cut your chart into two halves. Kaal Sarp Dosha forms when every one of the seven planets falls on one side of that line, with nothing on the other.

The name is dramatic and the internet has made it more so. In practice it is a pattern, and like any pattern its effect depends on which houses the axis runs through and how strong the rest of the chart is.

What Rahu and Ketu actually are
