How Aura AI Reads a Chart
Every answer starts with exact astronomy, passes through classical Vedic rules, and only then becomes plain language. This page explains each step, what we do not claim, and how to use astrological guidance responsibly.
Step 1: exact astronomy
Your date, time and place of birth go into the Swiss Ephemeris, the same astronomical dataset professional astrologers use. From it Aura AI computes the positions of the planets at your birth, your ascendant, the twelve houses, your Moon nakshatra and your Vimshottari dasha timeline.
This layer is deterministic. The same birth details always produce the same chart, and anyone can verify the planetary positions against any other Swiss Ephemeris tool.
Step 2: classical Jyotish rules
Interpretation follows the structure of classical Vedic astrology: house significations, planetary lordships and aspects, yogas, and the timing framework of mahadashas and antardashas. The AI applies those established rules to your specific chart; it does not invent new astrology.
Where the tradition itself offers more than one reading of a combination, the answer says so instead of pretending certainty.
Step 3: plain language
The last layer is language. Aura AI writes the interpretation as a clear answer to the question you actually asked, in English or Hindi, instead of a list of technical placements. You can always ask it to show the chart factors behind an answer.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim astrology is scientifically proven. The astronomy is exact; the meaning comes from the Jyotish tradition.
- We do not quote accuracy percentages, and we do not promise outcomes.
- We do not give medical, legal or financial advice, and a reading is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
- We do not sell your birth data. It is used to compute your chart.
Review and corrections
This page and the astrology content on the site are maintained by the Aura AI team. If you find a statement that misrepresents the Jyotish tradition or the product, write to us through the contact page and we will check it against the classical sources and correct it.
Frequently asked questions
Which astrology system does Aura AI use?
Vedic astrology (Jyotish): Moon sign, nakshatras, dashas and divisional charts, computed from Swiss Ephemeris astronomy. It is built for Indian users but works for anyone born anywhere.
Is astrology scientifically proven?
No, and we do not claim it is. The planetary positions are exact, verifiable astronomy; the meaning assigned to them comes from the Jyotish tradition. We keep the two layers honest: exact maths, classical interpretation, no invented accuracy numbers.
Can Aura AI be wrong?
Yes. Treat a reading as structured reflection grounded in your chart, not a verdict. For decisions about health, money or law, rely on qualified professionals; use the reading to think, not to decide alone.
