Pick what you're planning and we'll rank the most auspicious windows over the coming days — calculated from your birth chart, the panchang and the rising sign at each moment.
Muhurat is calculated from your birth chart, so it needs your birth details.
A muhurat is an elected moment — a slice of time chosen deliberately so that the planetary picture supports what you are about to begin. Where a horoscope reads the chart you were born with, muhurat works the other way round: it searches forward through upcoming days for a window whose conditions suit a specific act.
Each candidate window is checked against several independent factors and given a score out of a hundred. The panchang matters first — the tithi, the nakshatra the Moon occupies and the karana, since some combinations are traditionally unsuitable for any new undertaking. The rising sign at that exact moment is then examined, because the ascendant governs how a venture begins. Finally the window is weighed against your own running dasha period, which is why two people can get different answers for the same afternoon.
Windows that fall inside Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, Gulika Kaal or Varjyam are excluded before scoring. You can see those daily timings for any city on our Panchang page.
The finder covers everyday elections such as housewarming (griha pravesh), ground-breaking (bhoomi puja), opening a business, starting a journey, buying a vehicle or property, and beginning study or treatment. Marriage muhurat needs both partners' charts and is handled in the Aura AI app, as is the childbirth election, which is a detailed paid report.
Every reason shown beside a window is generated from the calculation itself, not written by a language model — so what you read is exactly why the window scored as it did.
